Tag 1: Ankunft in Rio de Janeiro
Arrival in Rio: After a long 28 hours trip from Hans' place to Frankfurt and 14 hours squeezed in the plane, we finally arrived in Rio. We got a 1 hours free sight-seeing tour through Rio at night since the taxi driver had neither a clue where our street is nor GPS and we ended up kind of stressed out and a bit terrified :) At the end, we climbed up the hill to our place with all the luggage ourselves and were so happy to finally reach this green oasis in the middle of the metropolian jungle in Rio without being rubbed. Together with our wonderful host, we were directly introduced into the crazy night-life of Rio and the first impression of this vibrant city were just overwhelming! Live Samba and all kind of people, smells and pictures flooded us... This city is probably best described as insane :) Today, we had a wonderful long walk along Flamengo beach across the city, tasted all kind of Amazonian fruit or fresh coconut juices and enjoyed the view on the sugar loaf :) We start to feel so relaxed and honestly, I don't miss Swedish winter for a sec :) We are going to upload some pictures from Rio on Flickr as well!

Super spannend :)
